No spooky season is complete without diving into the chilling world of horror movies and their iconic soundtracks. They set the perfect mood for a fright-filled October, making us jumpy whenever we hear an eerie sound. To celebrate this iconic movie genre, the magical Candlelight Halloween series is gifting Fort Myers a chilling tribute to scary soundtracks and other ominous compositions that send shivers down your spine.
As candles flicker, a string quartet will be working their magic on the scores heard in The Addams Family, Psycho, The Exorcist and many more movies as well as the likes of “Thriller” and “Funeral March of a Marionette.” Find your seat inside Music & Arts Community Center and get ready for an unforgettable evening of music, light and terror.
Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics
This Halloween, Candlelight invites you to relive some of the most terrifying scenes in cinematic history. As you hear “Tubular Bells” from The Exorcist, you’ll be transported to that hauntingly chilling bedroom scene. And once the unnerving sounds from the Halloween soundtrack flood through this eerie candlelit setting, you’ll be taken right back to Haddonfield and feel all the fear of the terror-stricken residents all over again. Expect to be entranced by the menacing melodies of music performed on strings while thousands of candles twinkle and glimmer around you.
Looking for a new way to celebrate the spooky season in style? Head over to Music & Arts Community Center this October to experience an enchanting evening that’s set to be as frightening as a haunted house on Halloween.
They’ll be two performances on the evening, with the first concert starting at 6:00pm and the later one at 8:30pm. Each concert lasts 60 minutes and doors close 45 minutes prior to the start time.
