Artwork from the iconic post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh has come to life in a 360-degree digital spectacle, illuminating and transforming the physical space into a fully immersive exhibit. You’ll see Van Gogh’s work take over the walls and encompass your surroundings through the lenses of several dozen projectors, hyper-realistic VR headsets, or a mix of both.
After successful exhibits in London, Barcelona, and a number of other cities around the world, the time has finally come for the spectacular exhibition to make its way to the States. The multisensory journey through these famous bodies of work is an entirely new way of experiencing art, bringing every stunning detail to life like never before. And, after an epic start in Atlanta, New York, and several other cities across the U.S., it’s finally in Grand Rapids at 555 Center Dr. NW, Walker, MI, 49544!
Using technology to recreate animated displays of these masterpieces you’ll be immersed directly into the paintings themselves, looking up at a Starry Night and watch the stars dance around the room in Van Gogh’s iconic style.
Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience has received rave reviews from attendees who have experienced this exclusive event in Grand Rapids.
Ilene S. – “Wonderfully done presentation. Best art show I’ve seen in 40 years. Clever, creative, and visually stunning. Music was superb too.”
Rachel R. – “This experience was worth every penny. My 9-year-old kiddo has loved “Starry Night” since her elementary art teacher introduced it to her class in kindergarten. She was mesmerized at every turn. We both learned so much and were able to soak in so much beauty. The experience is a great balance of information without being boring (even for my kid). In fact, the background information makes the centerpiece, 360-experience richer. Through the soundtrack and visuals, you can feel the ups and downs of Van Gogh’s life. It was an incredibly moving and memorable experience, one that I feel so blessed to have been able to spend with my daughter.”
Nancy P. – “This was fabulous! We learned new things about Vincent Van Gogh and marveled at his breathtaking work. The visual changes during the exhibit were outstanding.”
