The 2000s are getting a high-energy makeover in Hartford. Neon Moves by THE BLACKOUTS is bringing a one-hour dance production to The Theater of the Performing Arts, transforming familiar throwback hits into a glowing journey through jungles, city streets and colourful celebrations.
The show comes from THE BLACKOUTS, the Swiss dance group who captured international attention with their appearances on Britain’s Got Talent. Now, following their runner-up finish in 2025, the performers are bringing their latest production to Hartford, where LED costumes, illuminated props and tightly choreographed movement take centre stage.
And the soundtrack is taking us back to the 2000s, with songs including “Eye of the Tiger”, “Rock Your Body” and “I Gotta Feeling” among the tracks bringing the show to life.

Who are THE BLACKOUTS?
THE BLACKOUTS are a Swiss LED dance group known for pairing high-energy choreography with glowing costumes, visual effects and carefully timed lighting. They gained international attention on Britain’s Got Talent, where they received two Golden Buzzers before finishing as runners-up in 2025. Since then, the group has continued taking its distinctive light-based performances to audiences around the world, now bringing their biggest production yet, Neon Moves, to Hartford.
What is Neon Moves?
Neon Moves is a 60-minute dance production that blends modern choreography, 2000s pop hits and glowing LED costumes into one colorful theatrical experience. Created by THE BLACKOUTS, the show follows a group of dancers as they transform from machines into humans, travelling through vivid worlds inspired by jungles, city nights and lively celebrations.
