Thousands of candles will twinkle and the soothing notes of music on strings will entrance, but don’t be fooled! This utterly enchanting concert supplies all the terror of your favorite scary movie and all the excitement of a candy-obsessed kid on Halloween.
As Maxwell’s bathes in the soft glow of candlelight, unsuspecting audiences will be put into a musical trance as a string quartet swoons them with magical melodies and haunting sounds. Spine-tingling scores from movies such as Halloween, The Exorcist and more will cause quite a stir, and classical renditions of songs like “Thriller” are sure to have you on the edge of your seat.
Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics
This Halloween, an evening of mystery and magic is in store for all who surrender to the hypnotizing sounds of violins, a viola and a cello. With the help of a sea of flickering candles, Maxwell’s will light up like a jack-o’-lantern whilst the melodies of “Funeral March of a Marionette”, “Tubular Bells” from The Exorcist and more hair-raising songs and scores send a chill down your spine. On October 25, prepare to relive the terrifying slasher scenes from Halloween and Psycho before alleviating the tension with a magical medley of songs from The Nightmare Before Christmas and more spooky classics.

They’ll be two shows on the night, with the earlier concert starting at 6:30pm and the later one at 8:45pm. Each concert lasts 60 minutes and doors open 45 minutes prior to the start time.
