This October, Candlelight invites you to hear the band’s most popular songs performed on strings alongside some of the spellbinding compositions by the likes of Mozart and Puccini. As The Abbey at St James 1868 lights up with the glow of thousands of twinkling candles, audiences in Milwaukee will be left dazzled by the soothing sounds of a string quartet at this mesmerizing concert by Candlelight.
Candlelight: A Tribute to Queen and More
Ever since they came onto the music scene in 1970, Queen have taken the world by storm. Over their career, the band’s electrifying live performances led by the superstar front man Freddie Mercury have gone down in history, and they’ve sold over 300 million records worldwide.
This October, a string quartet will be putting a classical twist on Queen’s biggest hits including “Love of My Life”, “Don’t Stop Me Now” and “Bohemian Rhapsody” while surrounded by a sea of flickering candles. And as if that wasn’t enough, the iconic works by some of the leading pioneers of classical music including Puccini and Mozart will also sound through The Abbey at St James 1868.
Rediscover the music of Queen, Mozart and Puccini at a one-of-a-kind Candlelight concert in Milwaukee. Some of the most iconic songs and compositions of all time will be performed by talented musicians while everything around you bathes in the glow of candlelight.
There will be two performances on the evening of October 11; one at 6:30pm and the other at 8:45pm. Doors will open 45 minutes before the concert start time and each concert takes place over the course of 65 minutes.
