“Brilliant things happen in calm minds”. In fact, many studies have shown the benefits of positive meditation in well-being and mental health. It can be a great tool to alleviate stress, make you feel centered and replenish energy. With candlelit meditation and breathwork, the new relaxation experience Mindful Glow will help you to do just that.
On Saturday, 17 June, leave the outside world behind the doors of The Small Ballroom and immerse yourself in a serene and candlelit environment. What matters is ‘the right here’ and ‘the right now’.
Meditation in an ancient practice stemming from Hinduism and Buddhism spiritual practices, having powerful revitalising effects that ultimately help to maintain tranquility and balance. On 17 June, with Mindful Glow, you will set foot in a dimly lit room full of candles and start breathwork exercises, meditation, and vocal activation therapy, guided by an experienced practitioner with more than 10 years of experience.
The normally lively Small Ballroom will be transformed to be suited for a calming meditation experience. The sound waves of crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, Native American drone flutes, combined with the gentle glow of a sea of candles make you switch off from the constant noise, distractions and deadlines. Breathe in, breathe out and fully commit to be present.
No matter if you practice meditation on the daily or are a beginner, Newcastle’s new candlelit sound bath meditation will allow for inner peace to take centre stage.
With three different sessions to choose from, at 9:30am, 11:30am and 13:30pm, you can opt for the option that best fits your schedule. The warmth and comforting ambience of candlelight combined with focused breathing, is exactly what you need to get rid of any negative emotions or chronic pain and be transported to a serene state.
