A stunning flamenco show is coming to Orange County. Authentic Flamenco is an internationally-acclaimed production is by Royal Opera of Madrid, one of the most notable artistic institutions in Spain. This concert will take place at City National Grove of Anaheim (located at 2200 East Katella Avenue) and it’s only here for one night on May 9th! The Authentic Flamenco tour has had over 225,000 attendees worldwide and it returns to the West Coast with new artists and music but the same intensity and heart. You don’t want to miss talented dancer Ángeles Gabaldón in action. She’s a new face on this tour. and a top performer in Spain.
Flamenco is a traditional style of music and dance that originated in the southernmost part of Spain, in Andalusia. If you blink you might miss some of the impressive and lightning fast footwork! It’s enthusiastic, heart-pounding and absolutely mesmerizing.
Gabaldón’s passion for Flamenco music is evident, hailing from Seville she represents this cultural art form authentically. She also has a degree in Spanish Dance and a Diploma in Classical Ballet from the Conservatory of Dance in Seville. The only other talent that can keep up with Gabaldón’s are the incredible musicians backing him. Aside from the dancing, the crowd will hear some of Spain’s finest singers, percussionists, guitarists and more!
