Luckily, Halloween is only a couple of months away and the Candlelight Halloween sereis is gifting Salinas with a hauntingly beautiful tribute right in time for spooky season.
In celebration of the bewitching holiday, the popular concert series is reimagining some of the most iconic horror film scores and eerie Halloween songs that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. From the Halloween and Ghostbusters theme to Charles Gounod’s “Funeral March of a Marionette”, listen to Halloween favorites at the atmospherically chilling Salinas Valley Community Church amid a sea of twinkling candles.

Candlelight invites you to celebrate spooky season listening to some of the most iconic horror movie soundtracks and horror-themed songs. Whether we like it or not, these eerie melodies have haunted our darkest thoughts and nightmares since the first time we heard them. They immediately transport us to intense, terrifying and tension filled scenes. So, really there’s no better way to celebrate the spooky holiday.
From The Exorcist’s “Tubular Bells” and John Carpenter’s “Halloween” theme to Schubert’s “Der Erlkönig”, the talented musicians of Listeso String Quartet will give you their take on chilling cult classics.
