Hot off the trail from stompingly successful stops in Montreal, Chicago, amongst others, a family-friendly outdoor walking trail will fly on over, with a pitstop in Soton. The Lost Kingdom sends visitors, from grown-ups to wee ones, straight to an iconic prehistoric era, with gigantic animatronic dinosaurs with life-like, stunning detail. Sign up to get through the prehistoric gates before anyone else!
From August 23 to September 7, the experience will be open for a short time, just in time for the kids’ holidays to kick in. With the run of this experience being limited, it’s sure to be short and sweet, so don’t dilly-dally in booking ahead.
What will there be to see at The Lost Kingdom in Southampton?
Fans of the prehistoric era’s biggest baddies will be delighted by more than 50 dinosaurs on a ginormous, life-like scale, a meandering trail of educational value (to keep the little ones both entertained and informed).
That’s not to forget the excavation pit, with a huge range of activities to keep the little ones engaged and excited, as well as VR experience pods to enhance the reality of what life was like before our grandparents roamed the earth.
Already having delighted fans in Glasgow and London, it’s Southampton’s turn to be fascinated and educated all at once.
Real, live animatronics are put to use while moving within the giant creatures, so get ready to hear the roars of the dinosaurs, but also the roars of delight from the wee ones (unless you’re both adults, and it’s your fella roaring, then have a word).
The Lost Kingdom has partnered with Mammoth Hire for the UK leg of its tour. The team is committed to ensuring sustainability is at the forefront of the operations, alongside making it a great day out with the kids.
Accessibility patrons must note that the site is mainly grass and woodland, so some parts may be tricky for wheelchair users due to uneven flooring and steep gradients
