As a gifted string quartet work their magic on some of the British band’s most iconic songs, thousands of candles will be lighting up The Ethical Society of St. Louis to provide the enchanting setting for this unforgettable musical experience. From Asia to Latin America, their iconic songs and feel-good anthems help fill up stadiums around the world, and they’ve managed to sell hundreds of millions of records worldwide. This September, get ready to hear the band’s most beloved hits performed on strings in a soothing candlelit setting.
Listeso String Quartet will be putting a classical twist on Coldplay’s earlier hits such as “Clocks” and “Yellow” as well as more recent smashes including “Something Just Like This” and “A Sky Full of Stars.” Surrounded by thousands of flickering candles, you’ll hear how these songs and more sound as they’re reimagined by classical musicians at this utterly captivating concert.
After having enormous success in cities around the world including London, Manchester, Madrid, New York, and L.A., Candlelight brings its unique experience to St. Louis to pay tribute to one of the most popular and influential bands in the world.
They’ll be two concerts on the night, with the earlier show starting at 6:30pm and the later one at 8:30pm. Each concert takes place over the course of 65 minutes and doors open 45 minutes prior to the start time.
