Halloween is the season for scares, pumpkins, games, and to beware. And this October a spectacular Candlelight Halloween special is set to illuminate “The Sunshine City”. The wildly popular series is combining a sea of candles with melodies performed by talented musicians to create a unique, and ominous, atmosphere for a memorable concert inspired by horror. Don’t miss out on what is likely to be one of the most popular activities this Halloween.
A classically-trained Listeso string quartet will take to the candlelit stage at First Baptist Church where the musicians will serenade you with their screeching and shrieking violins. From Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ to Charles Gounod’s Funeral March of a Marionette, the quartet will take you on a hair-raising journey through legendary on-screen moments and feats of music.
Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics
While apple bobbing and carving pumpkins are some more traditional and fun activities for celebrating Halloween, why not try something different this year? What better way to get to the sinister essence of Halloween than listening to spine-chilling music at a stunning church in St. Petersburg? Unwind in a grand setting surrounded by the glow of flickering candles as the hauntingly beautiful notes wash over you.
Guided by music from fear-inducing films like The Exorcist, Psycho, and The Addams Family, the setlist for the haunted evening will definitely leave you feeling nostalgic and nicely nervous. This Candlelight concert is the perfect plan to enjoy with the kids (8 years old or older) too as they’ll definitely be familiar with some of the creepy songs.
You’ll have a spooky good time at this captivating Halloween-themed concert coming to St. Petersburg. Invite your friends and family for a memorable experience, or you can also enjoy the performance on your own. Either way, Candlelight will cast an unforgettable spell on you this October.
What’s more, with two performances taking place on the evening, you can choose a concert to suit your schedule. Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start time.
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
